  8.       Quick Boot is a small and handy utility designed to automate the
  9. tasks of exiting and rebooting Windows 95, as well as logging off the 
  10. current user.  It can be configured to exit, reboot Windows 95 or log off
  11. the user automatically at up to 30 different times and dates.  It also
  12. doubles up as a on-screen clock and an alarm clock for up to 10 different
  13. times and dates.  It has an option to remain on top of the screen so that
  14. you can easily access it at all times.  It uses only about 3% of resources.

  16.       New features in this version include:
  17. # Perfect backward scanning of dates and times.  This means that you will
  18.   never miss a single time you set for a certain task.  All times and dates
  19.   set will be pushed into an internal queue and will always be processed,
  20.   even if Windows 95 is busy when the specified time passed.

  22. # Unconditional exiting, rebooting or logging off.
  23.  
  24. # Clear All feature for easy clearing of times and dates set.
  25.  
  26. # Individual confirmation for exiting, rebooting and logging off.

  28.       Quick Boot 2.50 can be customized to suit your needs. (i.e. Password

  32.       You are entitled to evaluate Quick Boot 2.50 for a period of up to
  33. 14 days.  If after that time you intend to continue to use the program,
  34. you must register it (US$12).  If you do not intend to continue to use
  35. the program you must delete it from your system.

  37.       Registered users will be given technical support whenever possible.  
  38. Registered users will also receive rebates when registering for future
  39. new versions of Quick Boot.  For registered users of previous versions
  40. of Quick Boot, please refer to REGISTER.TXT for more information on the
  41. price of upgrading to Quick Boot 2.50.

  43.       The evaluation copy of Quick Boot 2.50 is freely distributable
  44. so long as the file wqb250.zip and its contents are NOT modified.

  47. please use Quick Boot 2.49 (wqb249.zip)
